A results-focused Property Development Surveyor with a proven project management background. Experienced in property asset management and a wide variety of development projects, successfully delivering schemes across a range of property sectors.
Background
Prior to the establishment of Richard Dickson Property Consultancy Ltd I established and headed up DBK Development Consultancy from their head office in Birmingham.
Before moving to DBK I was Associate Director of Development for investor and developer, Calthorpe Estates.
Eight years of actively managing a significant development portfolio including their Edgbaston Mill development, a £100 million mixed-use scheme opposite Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, which includes hotel, retail, leisure, restaurant, office and residential uses, as well as investing over £4 million in public realm.
The experience I gained working in a low risk, investor / developer environment, where I was responsible for the delivery of projects from inception, through planning, procurement, letting and delivery means that I am well qualified to ‘unlock’ the potential from a development opportunity
